Mecca of Bouge

Went to South Coast Plaza for the first time today. It was like being back in Siam Paragon at the heart of Bangkok, only this time the price tags were in dollars and scarier.

'Tis the birth

Of the first king sized bed.
But on the real, this holiday is a significant part of history. When we recognize Lincoln's birthday or Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday we don't say, "Happy x Luther King's day." I guess it's PC now to say "Happy Holidays," but I'm celebrating this holiday as Christmas. Happy Birthday to Jesus, may all your wishes come true!

Counting Down

Too many grains of sand to count
Yet I still try to.
I will sit still and watch the wind carry them away

Graphite

The moment when you finish a sketchbook.
Time to find a new one.

Rainy Day

Reminds me of the Morton Salt girl mixed with Shel Silverstein.
Rainy days in Southern California are rare so this week we're getting our fill for the past two years of drought.

Cyber Monday

"We buy sh** we don’t need—with money we don’t have—to impress people we don’t like."

But of course you work hard for your money so do whatever you like with it.
Happy shopping!
